House of Bread and Peace Introduces Kirkland as New Board member
EVANSVILLE, INDIANA, October 20, 2011 – Cheryl Kirkland was introduced as a new board member of House of Bread and Peace in Evansville. Cheryl is the President of Kirkston Mortgage Lending, LLC. House of Bread and Peace gives women and children a comfortable safe place to begin healing the wounds of homelessness and building foundations for successful lives. The House of Bread and Peace is staffed by an Executive Director, a house Manager, a night house manager and volunteers. They work with agencies like Aurora, ECHO, Southwestern Indiana Mental Health Center and others to provide services to the residents at the shelter.

Kirkland named Woman of the Year by NAPW
November 8, 2010 – Cheryl Kirkland was named Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women in the Mortgage Lending category. Cheryl has been in the mortgage industry for 12 years and is involved with many local groups such as Junior League, Evansville Rescue Mission, Right To Life, Christian Life Center and others.
